Photo Diary: Scheels

6:12 PM

Ever since they started building Scheels in Sandy about a year ago, JD has been dying to see what it's all about.   After our trip to City Creek today with my mom, we decided to swing by and see it for ourselves.  Basically it's Cabellas on steroids.  It's a sporting goods/outdoors store all in one.  And we walked through just about every aisle.  We really need to go on another day during the morning hours when there aren't so many people so that we can try out all of their virtual sporting simulations.

And in case you were wondering... I was dead serious about that hat.  J wasn't overly excited about it.  I think it'd be the perfect addition to my Idaho/cabin wardrobe {and may also come in hand for recess duty in January}.  By the way, Christmas is coming up pretty soon... just throwing it out there.  Oh, and don't you agree that J needs a Bin Laden beard permanently?  SO sexy {insert puking noise here}.

So, from the ferris wheel to the scuba diver feeding the fish in the aquarium, we were all over this.  People of Utah...you must go at least once.  If for nothing else, you need to take a sweet shark picture.  This may just need to be my profile picture next year during Shark Week.  I manhandled that thing.
