Call it good intentions.

JD and I have been feeling some good karma over here lately. We decided a few weeks ago to set a "going out to eat" weekly budget. We're not out of control, but we could definitely save some serious bucks by limiting ourselves a bit.

About a day after we made the decision, we went to Buffalo Wild Wings. I noticed that two large parties had sat down about 15 minutes after us and were already eating. I asked the waitress about it and she came back and told us that there had been a mix up in the kitchen and our order had been scrapped. She sent the manager to our table and he gave us our dinner free that night PLUS a dessert. No problems there. JD decided we were being blessed for our good intentions in setting a budget. :)

A few days later, we used our free meals for Pizza Pie Factory. About a month ago, they mixed up a pizooki order for us and the manager came to our table and gave us two free buffet passes. We finally decided to use them since it would be yet another, free meal.

THEN, last week at Buffalo Wild Wings (yes, my husband is obsessed with their half-off wing nights) we were seated and not one person came to our table for about 15 minutes. Someone finally noticed us and even though she wasn't our waitress, she was extremely apologetic and sweet and brought us free chips and salsa.

I don't know what our deal has been lately, but somehow we're really lucking out.
