Back to school.

5:55 PM

So JD and I are back in Utah and today was our first day of school. We had our nice little road trip across the country this past week and finally made it to Provo/Orem on Friday night. We spent all Saturday getting moved into our apartment, grocery shopping, and making some Bed, Bath, & Beyond trips. Speaking of which...Provo was OUT OF CONTROL this Saturday. Mom's were raiding the shelves and college kids were running wild on the roads. It was a little bit too much for me. Utah is great... but there are some things I am missing about Pennsylvania.

MISSING:
1. Being a drivable distance from my fambam
2. PANERA BREAD ... the fact that Ohio has Panera Breads at their rest stops is reason enough to see that Ohio is the best state in the U.S.
3. Root's (Our weekly Farmer's Market) & paying virtually nothing for fruit and veggies
4. Green, green, green... Utah is kind of brown
5. Having access to a pool
6. Having awesome next door neighbors
7. My Amish peeps
8. Humidity...call me crazy, but man it's good for my hair!
9. Tanger Outlets 20 minutes from our apartment
10. Having a dishwasher!

NOT MISSING:
1. Losing signal on my cell phone at the same place every time I drive to the freeway
2. 55 mph on the 30
3. No Frozen yogurt places
4. Occasional cow/farm smells in the evening
5. Walking up three flights of stairs (with groceries)
6. JD smelling like cats and smoke every day when he comes home from being in gross houses
7. JD being gone all day
8. Not having my car

Pennsylvania was definitely an adventure this summer... but a good one! It's fun to be able to do some different things and live in new places early on in our marriage.

Now we're off to do the school thang.

I feel you on the Panera Bread! One of my favorite places! Have you tried the apple/cranberry salad? It's to die for!
